Your gifts in the form of letters and testimony, organizing, and dissent to the city’s top-down imposition of privatization & displacement of our police and fire stations at 1617 U Street is astronomically appreciated.

Besides the 1000+ person petition of neighbors, and more than fifty residents speaking up directly during hearings, there were over 200 letters submitted in opposition to the record.

Moreover, there have been numerous community groups who have raised a red flag on the proposed luxury rezoning (see below).
