Mayor’s Office of Planning Application to Upzone 1617 U Street Site

The DC Office of Planning has submitted an application and report to the DC Zoning Commission to upzone the 1617 U Street site to High-Density zoning.

If approved, the zoning (allowable height and density) of the site would go from MU-4 (five stories) to MU-10 (ten stories and penthouse).
 
There is a public DC Zoning Hearing on JUNE 26, 2023, at 4pm.
